Subject: Restart HTTP is waiting on sessions
Feedback Type: Problem
Product Area: Domino Server
Technical Area: Administration
Platform: Windows
Release: 8.5.3
Reproducible: Always

I created a new Internet certificate with the CA process, because of Microsofts update "Update For Minimum Certificate Key Length". I had to restart the HTTP-task. This took a long time because of open sessions with traveler devices (iPhones and iPads). One of the messages: "15-10-2012 13:59:58 HTTP Server: Waiting for session to finish: Session State [Processing Request] Session ID [177137] Thread ID [6792 (0x1a88)] POST /servlet/traveler/Microsoft-Server-ActiveSync?User=Wim%20Boer&DeviceId=Appl88935E7V3NR&DeviceType=iPhone&Cmd=Ping HTTP/1.1".
There were only 4 devices; it took about 10 minutes.
Now I have to create a new certificate on an other server with 30 devices. Can I force the traveler devices "complete" their session so that the http-task restarts immediately when I give this command?

Thanks, Koos van Harmelen
